Hey! My name is Hans W. A. Hanley. I am a computer science PhD Candidate at Stanford University and soon to be a Research Scientist at Meta. I completed two Masters degrees in Computer Science and in Statistics at the University of Oxford. I completed my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. You can find out some other stuff I do at hanshanley.com.
I have long been interested in computer science, statistics, and world events and this blog is an attempt to synthesize these interests together. I plan to blog mostly about computational perspectives of different social, political, and economic phenomena. I also will post about some of my random interests from time to time.
